PRODUCT
DESCRIPTION:
ECCCOAT YK 8100 is a one component, conductive carbon coating that has an excellent resistance to oxidation. It is a low cost replacement for gold plating. Has excellent wear resistance and shortens total cycle time with fewer production steps. The material can be applied by screen printing on FR-4, CEM-1 and polyester sulphone.
ECCOCOAT YK 8100 carbon ink is a cost effective, high performance, conductive coating for copper connectors. It offers proven reliability and oxide-free connections, even in high humidity environments. It withstands wave soldering applications when used with rosin based fluxes.
Designed
as a rigid keyboard contact material, ECCOCOAT YK 8100 exhibits excellent and
consistent printability. Fine line patterns can be screened without the problem
of dropping, bleeding or skipping. ECCOCOAT YK 8100 may also be used as an
alternative to gold-plated connector tabs in contact areas and for coating
contact pads for zebra strips and LCD fabrication, thus eliminating oxidation
and possible shorts.
